~We have them in our ’97 sled pulling truck and our 6.7 Cummins towing truck.

~Install Instructions~

֍ Please Follow These Instructions EXACTLY!

֍ Get your head decked if installing new head gasket. Every head will need to be decked to give your head a smooth, straight edge.

֍ We also recommend using a genuine Cummins brand .020 marine head gasket ONLY!

֍ Make sure you have a good torque wrench, we recommend a Snap On Tools brand wrench.

• Don’t Install Washers on long bolts

• Put small washers between the rockers

• All other bolts get the regular washers

• Apply a thin pencil lead size bead of Tube Grease ONLY on both the bolts and the washers.

• Torque to 90#

• Then to 90º

*Remember 90º is just ¼ of a turn

֍ You will have 3 extra bolts left over (one of each size) so if for some reason while installing the torque falls off (the bolt is stretching) you will have an extra one to use.
